The D’Decor fabric collection is contemporary and modern
D’Decor introduces its 'Curated Concepts' series, a collection of meticulously designed fabrics aimed at the modern, global homeowner. This series features a blend of contemporary themes, designs, and materials, designed to add character to minimalist, urban living spaces. The article highlights four distinct collections: The Fragments Collection, The Impressions Collection, The Fusion Collection, and The Ethnic Collection I and II.
The Fragments Collection is characterized by geometric patterns and a sophisticated color palette, including mustard with navy, chartreuse with silver, and gold with grey. It incorporates Jacquard curtains and velvets, alongside plain fabrics. Key features include a satin jacquard with a tessellated 3D design, printed sheers with colorful patterns, and bright printed velvets and velvet jacquards featuring maze patterns, all complemented by coordinating curtain plains.
The Impressions Collection draws inspiration from brush strokes, presenting vivid colors on vibrant designs. This collection utilizes 100% cotton printed fabric with impressionist stripes and geometric motifs. A stippled ombre stripe, printed on sheer and textured satin, adds depth. The collection also includes jacquard upholstery with distressed chevron and abstract textures, along with curtain jacquard that showcases an interplay of satin weave and fancy yarn, creating rich textures.
The Fusion Collection translates earthy, handcrafted designs into diverse fabric substrates, offering a global ethnic aesthetic. It features curtain jacquard with a floral shibori design, distressed block-print-looking chevron, and stripes. Jacquard sheers with an 'ikat' dot and digitally printed sheers with Shibori patterns complement the main curtains. Upholstery options include printed velvet with a contemporary batik pattern and jacquard fabric with a floral block print. Plain fabrics, such as a raw-silk-look curtain plain and a chenille upholstery solid with a chevron texture, further enhance the collection.
The Ethnic Collection I and II celebrate the art and craftsmanship of the Indian sub-continent. It reinterprets classical, stylized motifs through various techniques like digital print, jacquard, embroidery, velvets, and plains. The regal and vintage patterns are invigorated by a vibrant, contemporary color palette, offered in two volumes, each with three color stories. Highlights include a delicate Jacobean floral print contrasting with a monotonal jacquard upholstery, satin jacquards with stylized stripes and damasks, embroidered trellises, and Mughal scroll patterns for decorative accents. A broad, multi-colored panel stripe on cotton satin serves as a showstopper, supported by plains with distinctive characters, a handsome velvet stripe, and a delicate wide satin pinstripe.
Beyond these showcased collections, D’Decor offers the ‘Flowing Jacquards Collection Two’ with botanical and geometric jacquards, and the ‘Reflections Collection Two’ focusing on sheers and solids. The brand also promotes eco-friendliness with ‘Nova’ bedlinen, introduces ‘Evita’ premium bed covers, and an easy-care range with anti-wrinkle and stain-resistant properties. ‘Bedsuites’ offers curated top-of-bed ensembles, premium dohars, jacquard collections, and kids' bed linen.
D’Decor maintains a significant retail presence across the country, with 20 stores currently open and a 21st location planned for Hyderabad. These experience centers offer over 10,000 home fabric options, mood board creation tools, and an intuitive furnishing journey facilitated by the D’Decor app. The stores provide inspiration boards, a welcoming shopping atmosphere, and dedicated services for interior decor professionals, including relationship managers, swatch services, fabric customization, and special previews.
