The architectural and engineering firm edg has introduced the Synthesis 3D collection, a line of cast-concrete furniture and wall paneling developed using the firm's proprietary 3-D printing software, also named Synthesis. edg's venture into 3-D printing began with the restoration of historical building façades in New York City. The firm leveraged 3-D printing technology to create intricate molds for these repairs, leading to the Modern Ornamental collection of façade designs inspired by the city's architecture.
