Robin Wall found her home unexpectedly full when her two college-aged children returned from school to continue their studies online. Seeking respite from the confines of the house, the family frequently explored the 40 acres of untouched wilderness surrounding their historic home, a former hunting lodge, where Sutherland Creek flows through. During these nature walks, the children were reminded of a childhood aspiration: to build a treehouse nestled within the branches of the diverse forest, populated by Douglas fir, Ponderosa pine, and blue spruce trees. This shared memory reignited the desire to finally bring their long-forgotten dream to fruition.
