Unlike many neighboring properties that are built at the water's edge, both the original cabin and the new bunkhouse are positioned just inside the treeline. This placement offers a sense of privacy and seclusion while still providing westward views. SHED Architecture & Design's approach prioritized minimizing disturbance to the natural forested site. The bunkhouse's design frames specific views from its second floor, integrating it thoughtfully into the landscape.
