A retired couple moving to Crown Point from Washington sought to transform their new, cool-toned residence into a warm, eclectic, and family-friendly home, particularly to accommodate their children and growing number of grandchildren. They enlisted the full-service design firm Kristyn Harvey Interiors for this project, which commenced in July 2024 and concluded six months later. The design aimed to reflect the couple’s love for travel by incorporating global treasures while prioritizing warmth and practicality. The inspiration for the home’s redesign stemmed from its coastal location, being close to Mission Bay, and the clients' active lifestyle, including participation in outrigger canoe competitions.
