The residence, spanning just over 3,000 square feet, features four bedrooms and four full and two half bathrooms. It offers stunning views of the San Fernando Valley and blends Art Deco with Italian Modernism. The design incorporates luxurious materials such as heavily veined marble, rich wood paneling, custom geometric brass stair railings, and vintage lighting, creating a mashup of the two distinct periods. She expressed a preference for living without common countertop materials like marble and granite and appreciated the kitchen's separation from other rooms, allowing her personal space while cooking. Restoration efforts in the kitchen focused on subtle yet crucial updates. Haller oversaw the replacement of awning window chains with historically accurate hardware, a task that required considerable effort to source and install. She emphasized 'restraint' in the renovation process, focusing on making the space functional without sacrificing its original charm. A carpenter was brought in to repair the track of the old-fashioned bread box's garage door, ensuring its safe operation. While the kitchen lacks modern amenities like soft-close hinges, it retains a distinct 'soul' that appealed to the owners.
