Victoria Beckham matches grand hallway at £31m mansion in divisive backless dress
Victoria Beckham regularly uses her home as a backdrop for showcasing her makeup line and fashion label, and recently offered another glimpse inside her London residence. The property, located in the exclusive Holland Park area, is valued at £31 million and is shared with her husband, David Beckham, and their three youngest children: Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. The entrance hall of the mansion is described as an impressive space.
In a recent post, Victoria Beckham modeled a new backless halterneck dress, featuring a black fishtail skirt and a sleeveless V-neck bodice with keyhole detailing. She shared a photo of herself ascending the staircase within her home, highlighting the minimalist interior design. The area features black and white tiled floors, white-framed pictures, and picture rails that lead up the staircase to a large sash window overlooking the back garden. Victoria expressed her enthusiasm for the dress, calling it one of her favorite pieces from her new collection and noting its refined, sexy, and playful qualities.
The post garnered varied reactions from her fans. Many praised her appearance, with one commenter describing her as “absolutely stunning” and “the number one fashion queen in the world.” However, some critics likened the outfit to an apron, commenting, “Looks like a maid's apron,” and “A posh maid comes to mind.”
This is not the first time Victoria Beckham has showcased this particular dress style. She had previously modeled a bold red and blue version of the frock, demonstrating an increasingly experimental approach to her outfit choices. In April, she departed from her signature all-black attire for a poolside photoshoot, where she paired a bright gown, also priced at £1250, with cherry-red, open-toe wedges. During this photoshoot, her brunette hair was slicked back, complementing a glamorous makeup look that included a dark brow and smoky eye.
The London mansion itself underwent significant renovation work in 2016, with an estimated cost of £8 million. The property now includes a home gym, where Victoria reportedly spends an hour on the treadmill each morning. It also features a large living room adorned with vine leaf wallpaper and an intricately carved cream fireplace. Additionally, the mansion contains separate quarters, which her eldest son, Brooklyn, occupied before moving in with his wife, Nicola Peltz. Beyond their London residence, Victoria and David Beckham also own homes in the Cotswolds and a modern apartment in Miami.
