Her mother, a seamstress, further cultivated Alonso's inclination towards working with her hands and fostering creativity. At METHOD & CONCEPT, Alonso collaborates with Chad Jensen, extending beyond traditional design tasks to integrate art and architecture. The firm, which is a sister company to the Thomas Riley Artisans’ Guild, functions as both a design studio and an art gallery, emphasizing the fusion of design and art. This approach ensures that artisanship is central to all projects, with spaces meticulously planned to highlight artworks.
