Frank Lloyd Wright-Inspired 3D Cement Tiles + Textile Blocks

Eso Surfaces, in collaboration with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, has introduced a new collection of 3D cement tiles and textile blocks inspired by the iconic American architect. This collection allows individuals to incorporate elements of Frank Lloyd Wright's distinct architectural style into their homes, offices, or landscapes. The Southern California-based family business has reinterpreted the geometric patterns found in four of Wright’s notable Southern California residences: the George Ablin House, John Storer House, Alice Millard House, and the Charles Ennis House. These homes are renowned for their innovative use of textile block construction, a system developed by Wright that utilizes pre-cast concrete blocks, often with intricate patterns, to create textured and sculptural walls. The collection offers tiles and blocks that faithfully capture the essence of Wright's original designs. The Millard Cement Tile is inspired by the Alice Millard House, also known as "La Miniatura," built in Pasadena, California, in 1923. The Ennis Cement Tile draws from the Charles Ennis House in Los Angeles, California, constructed in 1924, known for its monumental appearance and elaborate patterned blocks. The Storer Textile Block originates from the John Storer House, also located in Los Angeles and built in 1923, which showcases a distinctive use of textured concrete. Finally, the Ablin Textile Block is a homage to the Dr. George Ablin House in Bakersfield, California, designed in 1958, demonstrating Wright's continued exploration of the textile block system later in his career. Each design in The Frank Lloyd Wright Collection by Eso Surfaces is available for purchase as individual tiles or in bulk quantities, providing flexibility for various design applications, from small decorative accents to large-scale architectural installations. This initiative aims to make Wright's enduring legacy more accessible to designers, architects, and homeowners, enabling them to infuse their spaces with the historical significance and aesthetic appeal of his work. Stuart Graff, CEO of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, emphasizes that Eso Surfaces' interpretations maintain high-quality standards, ensuring that the spirit of Wright's original creations is preserved and celebrated through these modern reproductions. The blank cement tile option also provides a versatile component that can be used alongside the patterned blocks or as a complementary neutral element in a design scheme. This partnership serves to bridge historical architectural innovation with contemporary design needs, allowing a new generation to appreciate and integrate Wright's vision into their environments. #FrankLloydWright #CementTiles #TextileBlocks #ArchitecturalDesign #HomeDecor #EsoSurfaces #ArchitecturalHistory #InteriorDesign #BuildingMaterials #FrankLloydWright #CementTiles #TextileBlocks #ArchitecturalDesign #HomeDecor #EsoSurfaces #ArchitecturalHistory #InteriorDesign #BuildingMaterials
