Concrete Collaborative Unveils Playfully Patterned Tiles From Alex Proba

Concrete Collaborative, a California-based company known for its modern concrete and terrazzo tiles and pavers, has launched its latest product line: the Aurora Collection. This new addition to their Strands collection of encaustic patterned tiles features designs by New York-based multidisciplinary designer Alex Proba. The Strands collection is recognized for offering an architectural interpretation of traditional cement tiles, and the Aurora Collection continues this tradition with Proba's distinctive artistic style. The Aurora Collection is inspired by Alex Proba's travels to Morocco, infusing her signature shapes and vibrant colors into a comprehensive range of 26 unique tile designs. These designs are intended to be versatile, allowing for numerous mix-and-match layout options, providing designers and homeowners with significant creative flexibility. The aesthetic draws from Proba's established visual language, characterized by playful, abstract forms and a bold color palette, making these tiles a focal point in any space. A key feature of the Aurora Collection, consistent with the broader Strands series, is its adaptability for various applications. The tiles are suitable for both wet and dry environments, making them ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, and other moisture-prone areas, as well as living spaces. Their durability also makes them appropriate for high-traffic commercial settings in addition to residential use. Furthermore, the tiles can be installed on floors, walls, and even within shower enclosures, demonstrating their robust and multifunctional design. Concrete Collaborative has a history of successful collaborations with prominent designers and entities, including Cooler Gallery and Sarah Sherman Samuel, reinforcing its reputation for innovative and design-forward products. The partnership with Alex Proba marks another significant step in delivering visually engaging and high-quality surfacing options to the market. The launch of the Aurora Collection underscores the company's commitment to expanding its offerings with artistic and functional tile solutions. The collaboration highlights a blend of artistic expression with practical application, offering products that are not only aesthetically appealing but also engineered for performance and longevity. The collection aims to bring a sense of joy and individuality to interior and exterior spaces, allowing for personalization through its diverse patterns and colorways. This release caters to a contemporary design sensibility that values both modern aesthetics and versatile utility in building materials. #ConcreteCollaborative #AlexProba #TileDesign #InteriorDesign #EncausticTiles #ModernDesign #PatternedTiles #ArchitecturalTiles #HomeDecor #ConcreteCollaborative #AlexProba #TileDesign #InteriorDesign #EncausticTiles #ModernDesign #PatternedTiles #ArchitecturalTiles #HomeDecor
