This led them to collaborate with architect John Cooney of Stofft Cooney Architects and Scott McConnelee of BUILD, a construction company renowned for luxury modern homes. Thais Alcalay, an interior designer by profession, played a pivotal role in the project. She arrived at initial consultations with extensive documentation, including detailed descriptions of each room, desired materials, and even plumbing specifications, surprising both the architect and the builder with her meticulous planning.
