HIMACS Structura solid surface material can take on virtually any pattern

LG Hausys, a South Korean manufacturing company, has introduced HIMACS Structura, an innovative solid surface material designed to offer unprecedented customization in interior and architectural projects. This new material builds upon the established HIMACS surface, which has already gained wide acceptance among architects and designers for its versatility in both domestic and commercial applications. Structura's key feature is its ability to be customized with virtually any suitable 3D pattern, allowing for highly individualized design solutions. The core of HIMACS Structura is its acrylic stone composition, which provides both durability and aesthetic flexibility. The material is notable for its thermoformability, meaning it can be heated and molded into a variety of three-dimensional shapes and designs. This characteristic makes it a highly adaptable option for designers looking to create unique and complex forms. Furthermore, its flexible and weather-resistant properties extend its utility beyond indoor spaces, making it suitable for a diverse range of applications. Potential uses for HIMACS Structura are extensive, including cladding for wet areas such such as bathrooms and spas, where its resistance to moisture is a significant advantage. It can also be employed to create large-scale patterned facades for building exteriors, demonstrating its capacity for architectural impact. The material is available in a palette of ten color options, which includes several shades of white, as well as black and a vibrant fiery red, providing a broad spectrum for aesthetic choices. In addition to the custom pattern capabilities, users can select from ten pre-designed textured surface patterns. Examples include 'Zen,' which mimics the tactile sensation of pebbles, and 'Hive,' characterized by a hexagonal print. These ready-to-use textures offer quick and effective ways to add depth and interest to surfaces. For projects requiring a specific brand identity or a unique artistic vision, HIMACS Structura also allows for complete customization, enabling patterns, drawings, fonts, and logos to be printed directly onto its surface. This level of personalization makes it an ideal material for bespoke interior design and branding applications. The HIMACS solid surface material has previously been utilized by renowned designers such as Karim Rashid and Jean Nouvel, indicating its standing in the design community. Its capabilities were recently showcased at Milan Design Week, where it was featured in various furniture product presentations, further highlighting its adaptability and aesthetic appeal in contemporary design. With HIMACS Structura, LG Hausys aims to empower architects and designers with a material that combines functional performance with limitless creative potential, catering to the evolving demands for personalized and visually striking design elements in modern construction and interior spaces. #HIMACSStructura #LGHausys #SolidSurfaceMaterial #AcrylicStone #3DPatterns #InteriorDesign #ArchitecturalMaterials #CustomizableSurfaces #Thermoformable #DesignInnovation #HIMACSStructura #LGHausys #SolidSurfaceMaterial #AcrylicStone #3DPatterns #InteriorDesign #ArchitecturalMaterials #CustomizableSurfaces #Thermoformable #DesignInnovation
