The fire pit, encircling the back half of the spa, creates visual illusions where the water appears to spill into the fire and the flames seem to float on the water when viewed from different angles. This effect is achieved by an approximately 6-inch-wide custom-fabricated metal channel with a slot and grating system beneath the fire glass, allowing water to spill near the flames. The fire pit itself is constructed from masonry, with the grating system integrated into it to support the fire bar and gas line.
