Many users mistakenly add a second router when experiencing poor performance, unaware that this often exacerbates the issue rather than solving it. Mesh systems, designed to work cohesively, are an exception, employing multiple units to extend Wi-Fi coverage without interference. For optimal Wi-Fi performance, the router should be visible and centrally located within the home, raised a few feet off the ground, and clear of any dense obstructions.
