The clients, known for their hospitality, sought a versatile space suitable for large gatherings, intimate conversations with a single friend, or personal relaxation. Sheth's background in hospitality design, where he typically creates spaces conducive to gathering and serving as destinations, aligned well with their vision. The initial state of the home featured concrete extending from all side and back doors. Recognizing that the homeowners, who only possessed one car, did not require an extensive driveway leading to their garage (which they repurposed into a home gym), Sheth collaborated with landscape architect Anooshey Rahim, principal of Dune Hai. Together, they planned to convert the long stretch of land into a vibrant, plant-filled retreat that would also incorporate distinct zones for dining and lounging.
