Dimore Studio has completed the refurbishment of Fendi’s Sloane Street boutique in London, drawing inspiration from the late 1960s and 1970s aesthetics. This collaboration marks the first Fendi boutique designed by Dimore Studio, following their previous acclaimed work on the Fendi apartment in Rome in 2016 and a design pieces collection for Fendi at Design Miami in 2014. The enduring partnership between Dimore Studio, led by Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran, and Fendi is attributed to a shared vision of luxury, emphasizing craftsmanship and attention to detail, alongside the creative freedom granted by Fendi. The renovated Sloane Street outpost aims to evoke the ambiance of a luxurious Roman aristocratic apartment, infused with contemporary sophistication. Key design influences include works by designers such as Paul Evans, Pierre Paulin, and Gae Aulenti. The boutique spans two floors, characterized by soft textures, rounded edges, and a warm color palette. To enhance the intimate, homely feel, Dimore Studio meticulously curated a blend of vintage furniture and contemporary art and design pieces. Examples include 19th-century Chinese bamboo armchairs paired with an 'Artona' series dining table by Afra and Tobia Scarpa.
