Parkside launches Matrix ceramic wall tile collection

Parkside Architectural Tiles, a prominent specification company, has introduced its latest ceramic wall tile collection named Matrix. This new collection is the result of a collaborative effort with a leading color consultant, ensuring a diverse and adaptable range for the design community. The Matrix collection is designed to inspire creativity by offering an extensive portfolio of 23 distinct tile colors. These colors are available in both matt and gloss finishes, providing designers with flexibility to achieve various aesthetic outcomes. To further enhance design possibilities, the collection includes matching grouts and trims, allowing for cohesive or contrasting looks. The primary objective behind the Matrix collection was to provide designers with a versatile palette that enables the creation of coordinated designs or bold, statement-making combinations. Vanessa Konig, the color consultant involved in the development, played a crucial role in curating the color range. Her focus was on ensuring that the colors would not only complement a wide array of natural materials but also perform effectively across diverse environments. This includes settings such as warm and inviting restaurants and bars, as well as more minimalistic and pared-back spaces, catering to the varied demands of hospitality and commercial design. The color spectrum within the Matrix collection spans from subtle neutrals and gentle pastels to vibrant brights and rich jewel tones. Several colors, such as Victoria Purple and Heritage Blue, are particularly aligned with current design trends. Vanessa Konig highlights the versatility of colors like Heritage Blue, describing it as a deep, ultramarine shade that would pair well with crisp white architectural details. She suggests its use in a similar fashion to paint, for instance, by fully tiling a bathroom space from floor to ceiling to create a rich and elegant ambiance. In terms of dimensions, the Matrix tiles are offered in two sizes: 148 x 148mm and 98 x 198mm. Each color in the collection is accompanied by corresponding straight edge and box trims, alongside matching grout. This comprehensive offering facilitates the creation of a polished and coordinated final product, whether the design calls for a solid color application or an experimental approach combining contrasting tiles, grouts, and trims. To assist designers in their selection process, sample boxes are available, containing all 23 tile colors, various grouts, and a selection of trims. For projects with highly specific color requirements that may not be met by the standard Matrix collection, Parkside offers a bespoke solution through its Design Lab. This service allows for the creation of ceramic wall tiles in a variety of sizes, matching any specified RAL or Pantone reference. However, with its impressive selection of 23 tile colors, accompanying grouts, and trims, the Matrix collection serves as a strong starting point for most design endeavors, offering substantial creative freedom and high-quality materials for diverse architectural and interior design projects. #CeramicTiles #WallTiles #HotelDesign #InteriorDesign #ColorConsultant #ArchitecturalTiles #DesignTrends #HospitalityDesign #CeramicTiles #WallTiles #HotelDesign #InteriorDesign #ColorConsultant #ArchitecturalTiles #DesignTrends #HospitalityDesign
