The research utilized four experimental walls exposed to different cardinal directions (south, north, west, and east). Perennials, including shrubs, ferns, grasses, and geophytes, were selected based on their high soil moisture requirements and grouped into two design modules: "cascade" (tall, hanging plants) and "ground cover" (low-spreading plants). The textile mat system was soil-free, necessitating continuous overwatering with a nutrient solution. Plant development was continuously monitored, and parameters such as visual attractiveness, growth height, growth form, winter survival rate, pest and pathogen susceptibility, and biomass were assessed. The findings revealed that certain species demonstrated consistent attractiveness throughout the year, including during winter.
