The year 2021 proved to be a period of significant growth and creative output for Studio McGee, reflecting on a multitude of accomplishments across various facets of their business. The firm successfully completed several noteworthy design projects, showcasing their aesthetic in diverse residential settings. Among these were the Arizona Homestead, the PC Contemporary Project, and the Mountainside Retreat. The McGee Home itself also saw significant developments, with the unveiling of its pool and pool house, as well as a dedicated craft room, further cementing the studio's design philosophy within their own residence. Beyond client projects, Studio McGee expanded its product offerings through McGee & Co., releasing two comprehensive catalogues during the year: the Summer 2021 Catalogue and the Winter 2021 Catalogue. These publications served to showcase new collections and provide inspiration to their audience. The year also marked a personal milestone for the founders with the arrival of baby Margot McGee, whose nursery reveal was shared with their followers, adding a personal touch to the business narrative. In the realm of artistic collaboration, Studio McGee partnered with several talented artists. These collaborations included Jordan Nicole of High Desert Studio, Amy Lauren of Amy Lauren Studio, and Kaleen Cameron, bringing a diverse range of artistic perspectives into their work and product lines. The studio also highlighted various individuals they admire through their “Make Life Beautiful” series, featuring profiles of Charlotte Reiss, Kaleb Wyse, Paula Sutton, Jersey Ice Cream Co., Alyssa Rosenheck, Stephanie Sabbe, Sean Strong, Bryan Patrick Flynn, Floret Flower, Ajiri Aki, Leanne Ford, Lauren Liess, Nicole Gibbons, and Becki Owens. These features showcased a broader community of design and lifestyle professionals. McGee & Co. also launched several new collections in 2021, catering to different seasons and categories. These included the Spring Collection, Fall Collection, Holiday Collection, Kids Collection, and a dedicated Candle Collection, demonstrating a continuous expansion of their home decor and lifestyle brand. Furthermore, the partnership with Threshold at Target was strengthened with an expanded line of products, making their designs more accessible to a wider consumer base. On the media front, the second season of “Dream Home Makeover” was released on Netflix, allowing a larger audience to witness the design process and transformations undertaken by Studio McGee. The studio also maintained an active presence on social media platforms, particularly Instagram, engaging with their audience through visual content. The year’s review also touched upon lifestyle elements, sharing favorite recipes, specifically holiday dishes and insights into The McGee’s annual Pie & Soup night. The company expressed gratitude to its team and audience for their contributions to a successful year, looking forward to new endeavors in 2022. #YearInReview #HomeDesign #InteriorDesign #ProjectShowcase #ProductLaunch #McGeeAndCo #Netflix #Collaborations #BusinessGrowth #YearInReview #HomeDesign #InteriorDesign #ProjectShowcase #ProductLaunch #McGeeAndCo #Netflix #Collaborations #BusinessGrowth
