Sensi porcelain stoneware tiles by Matteo Thun for Florim

Florim, in collaboration with Italian architect Matteo Thun, has introduced the Sensi porcelain stoneware tile collection, designed to infuse spaces with natural textures and colors while adhering to environmental sustainability. This collection, developed under Florim's Casa dolce casa – Casamood brand, which specializes in nature-inspired designs since its establishment in 2005, aims to enrich the architectural vocabulary by drawing inspiration directly from the earth's diverse palette. The Sensi tile collection is versatile, suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, offering a broad spectrum of 20 neutral shades. These shades are carefully curated to mimic the natural variations found in the earth, ranging from light whites to deep dark browns. This allows designers and homeowners to introduce an organic aesthetic and a sense of character into their environments. The availability of multiple shades facilitates the creation of coherent and harmonious natural themes within a space. Beyond color, the collection offers practical flexibility with six different tile sizes and a choice of three surface finishes, alongside varying slab thicknesses. This array of options enables customization for diverse design requirements and functional needs, ensuring that the tiles can be adapted to various architectural styles and usage contexts. The design philosophy behind Sensi emphasizes a connection to ancient stories of earth and mineral elements, suggesting a deep-rooted and timeless appeal. Matteo Thun highlighted that Sensi does not merely imitate nature but rather expands the construction vocabulary, signifying a sophisticated integration of natural elements into contemporary building practices. He expressed satisfaction with Florim as a partner, noting their ability to meet both aesthetic and functional demands for porcelain stoneware slabs, underscoring the quality and versatility of the product. Environmental responsibility is a core aspect of the Sensi collection. The tiles are manufactured using 60 percent recycled materials, reflecting a commitment to circular economy principles. Furthermore, the production process is designed to minimize water consumption and relies on self-generated electricity, significantly reducing its ecological footprint. This eco-conscious approach positions Sensi as a sustainable choice for modern design projects. Overall, the Sensi collection represents a fusion of natural inspiration, design versatility, and environmental stewardship. It provides an innovative solution for surfacing needs, allowing for the creation of aesthetically pleasing and sustainable spaces. The collaboration between Florim and Matteo Thun brings forth a product that respects and enriches the natural environment, offering a wide range of choices for contemporary architectural and interior design. #SensiTiles #Florim #MatteoThun #PorcelainStoneware #SustainableDesign #NaturalMaterials #InteriorDesign #OutdoorSpaces #HomeDecoration #SensiTiles #Florim #MatteoThun #PorcelainStoneware #SustainableDesign #NaturalMaterials #InteriorDesign #OutdoorSpaces #HomeDecoration
