This new product follows their previous ventures with lamp and bookshelf speakers, continuing the theme of incorporating speakers into unconventional spaces. The design prioritizes discretion and aesthetic integration, allowing sound to be placed in areas where traditional speakers might be obtrusive, such as a child's room, above an end table, or in an entryway. The picture frame can be mounted on a wall in either portrait or landscape orientation, utilizing a wall hook and featuring slots on the back for power cord routing. It also comes with two rubber feet for standing use, accommodating different placement preferences. It supports AirPlay 2 for direct wireless streaming from Apple devices and includes Spotify Connect, allowing users to send music or podcasts directly from the Spotify app. Functioning as a native speaker within the Sonos app, it provides access to numerous streaming services, both free and subscription-based. The speaker can also be incorporated into a wireless surround sound home theater system, with the capability to link two frames together, requiring only a power outlet. The product is primarily aimed at consumers who prioritize design and discreet speaker placement over pristine audio quality.
