BRANDT Collective + Norm Architects Elevate Everyday Hardware

The collaboration between Danish studios BRANDT Collective and Norm Architects introduces four distinct hardware collections, elevating everyday fixtures into sculptural elements. This partnership focuses on transforming functional components into aesthetically significant pieces, akin to functional jewelry for interiors. Each collection emphasizes timeless materials, inviting surfaces, and a seamless integration of form and function. The LEAF collection is characterized by its sharp, minimalist design, featuring a blade-like silhouette. Its subtle curves interact with light, highlighting the delicate surfaces, while a solid, dense base provides a striking contrast. This collection is designed to offer a contemporary and refined edge to cabinetry, blending modern aesthetics with practicality. Inspired by traditional buttons, the BUTTON collection evokes a sense of nostalgia with its softly rounded knobs. These pieces are designed to age gracefully, developing a unique patina over time that reflects their use and touch. This approach creates a visible and tactile connection between users and their everyday objects, emphasizing a lived-in luxury. The TERRACE collection draws inspiration from classical architecture, particularly ancient Roman staircases and Art Deco archways. It aims to introduce sculptural depth even to small objects, creating a rich visual experience. The design utilizes light and shadow to form dynamic rhythms that shift with natural illumination, making each piece a constantly evolving visual element. Finally, the CARVE collection incorporates a handcrafted, artisanal quality. Its chiseled surfaces are reminiscent of traditional Japanese woodworking techniques, celebrating the beauty of imperfection and the passage of time. These pieces are designed to become more textured and dynamic as they are used and exposed to light, embodying a philosophy of evolving beauty. Overall, these hardware collections by BRANDT Collective and Norm Architects redefine the role of hardware in interior design. They blend beauty, simplicity, and functionality, offering sophisticated finishing touches that enhance the tactile and visual experience of any space. The collaboration showcases a thoughtful approach to design, where every detail contributes to the overall ambiance and character of a home. #HardwareDesign #InteriorDesign #NormArchitects #BRANDTCollective #HomeFurnishings #DesignCollaboration #MinimalistDesign #ArtisanalHardware #HardwareDesign #InteriorDesign #NormArchitects #BRANDTCollective #HomeFurnishings #DesignCollaboration #MinimalistDesign #ArtisanalHardware
