Transform Your Home with Martyn Lawrence Bullard's Window Treatments
Renowned British-born interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard has launched an exclusive collaboration with The Shade Store, focusing on a new collection of window treatments. Bullard, known for his work with celebrity clients, refers to window treatments as the "jewelry of a room," emphasizing their role in enhancing a space's personality and scale. This collaboration introduces a range of fabrics designed to offer embellishment and style to various interiors.
The inspiration for this collection stems from Bullard's extensive international travels. His journeys, spanning from the fashion runways of Paris to the vibrant streets of Tangier, Morocco, have significantly influenced the aesthetic and patterns featured in the designs. The resulting collection is characterized by Bullard’s distinctive bold patterns, presented across six different materials and more than 20 color options.
Among the notable designs are eclectic accents found in the "Boho Vine" pattern, which draws from bohemian influences. Another design, "Nomad Stripe," captures an ancestral elegance, inspired by patterns observed on carved wood shields. These elements are blended to create a collection that is both fresh and inviting, according to Ian Gibbs, Chief Creative Officer at The Shade Store.
Gibbs further notes that the materials in the collection highlight vibrant florals, intricate vines, and embroidered sheers. These design choices aim to brighten homes and infuse windows with a sense of joy. The collaboration seeks to provide customers with diverse options that reflect a well-traveled and sophisticated design sensibility, enabling them to personalize their living spaces with distinctive and stylish window treatments.
