The VNYL is a new multi-level establishment in New York City's East Village, functioning as a bar, restaurant, and club. Owner James Morrissey, who also runs The Late Late in the Lower East Side, aims to modernize the traditional Irish bar concept with a contemporary flair. Interior designer Sarah Abdallah of Functional Creative Design was responsible for the interior aesthetic, which combines elements of 1970s luxury residential design with a rock 'n roll edge, incorporating lush textures, playful accents, and disco balls.
