Asian Paints ‘Where The Heart Is’ Season 9 Brings 5 Celebrity Home Stories Full Of Warmth & Soul!

The ninth season of Asian Paints' 'Where The Heart Is' series was launched with a screening event at Jio World Maison, BKC, which felt like a personal invitation into a living room rather than a formal preview. The event, hosted at PVR Mumbai, highlighted a shift in home design philosophy, prioritizing comfort, personal stories, and a lived-in warmth over purely aesthetic considerations. This season showcases the homes of five celebrities, focusing on their unique approaches to creating spaces that authentically reflect their personalities and life experiences. One of the notable highlights of the screening was the presence of Archana Puran Singh, her husband Parmeet Sethi, and son Ayushmaan Sethi. Archana Puran Singh shared insights into her Madh Island home, an Anglo-Spanish-inspired residence. She emphasized that their home was not designed to follow fleeting trends but rather evolved naturally over time, accumulating family anecdotes and memories within its walls. The portrayal of their home on screen underscored the show's theme of celebrating honest, personal living spaces rather than perfect, curated ones. Season 9 also introduced the 'Where The Heart Is' Lookbook, a practical guide available in both printed and digital formats. This lookbook is designed to help viewers translate the design elements observed in the episodes, such as textures, finishes, color palettes, and moods, into their own homes. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between inspiration and implementation, moving beyond the need to screenshot or pause episodes for design references. During a Q&A session, Amit Syngle, MD & CEO of Asian Paints, addressed a question regarding the concept of 'comfort' in home design. He explained that comfort is subjective and varies for each individual. Asian Paints' approach involves understanding homeowners' preferences and emotional connections to their space, and then suggesting colors and textures that align with those feelings. The core principle is that a home should resonate with the individual living in it, rather than adhering to external design dictates. The featured homes in Season 9 include those of Sonakshi Sinha & Zaheer Iqbal, Gautam Gambhir, Keerthy Suresh & Antony Thattil, Archana & Parmeet, and Aman & Priya Gupta. Each celebrity's home is presented as a reflection of their lifestyle, routines, and emotional connections. Sonakshi Sinha's penthouse is depicted as a blend of lively areas and quiet retreats. Gautam Gambhir's residence is characterized by its calm, well-lit, and reflective atmosphere. Keerthy Suresh's Kochi apartment showcases an intuitive use of color. Aman and Priya Gupta's Gurgaon home embraces the dynamics of modern family life, including movement and everyday 'mess'. The common thread across all these homes is their authenticity, devoid of any pretense or pursuit of superficial perfection. This season differentiates itself by treating color as a form of language and textures as narrative elements. Design choices, including Nilaya Arc finishes and Royale Play textures from Asian Paints, are presented as serving emotional purposes rather than merely following trends. The overarching message of 'Where The Heart Is' Season 9 encourages viewers to consider what truly constitutes comfort and personal meaning within their own living spaces, rather than simply replicating celebrity styles. #AsianPaints #WhereTheHeartIs #HomeDesign #CelebrityHomes #InteriorDecoration #ComfortInDesign #PersonalizedSpaces #DesignPhilosophy #AsianPaints #WhereTheHeartIs #HomeDesign #CelebrityHomes #InteriorDecoration #ComfortInDesign #PersonalizedSpaces #DesignPhilosophy
