My party of 6 stayed in a $1,000-a-night 'tree house' villa in Disney World, and it's perfect for big groups

This article details a review of a treehouse villa at Disney World's Saratoga Springs Resort. The author, a frequent Disney World visitor, booked the villa for a party of six using Disney Vacation Club (DVC) points, noting the significant cost savings compared to the typical $1,000-a-night price. The villa, nestled in a wooded area separate from the main resort, offered a unique and secluded experience, differing from traditional Disney hotel stays. Upon arrival, the author experienced an early check-in, with the room ready by 1:00 p.m. Access to the Treehouse Villa area required driving a short distance from the main resort and passing through an unmanned gate, which contributed to the secluded, in-the-woods feel. Navigating to the specific villa was initially challenging but manageable. The location, while beautiful and offering a distinct atmosphere, presented some transportation considerations. Without a personal vehicle, guests would need to rely on an internal shuttle to the main resort and then transfer to a park bus. The villa provided only one parking spot, which could be inconvenient for larger groups, although additional parking was found near the pool. A boat service to Disney Springs was also available, offering a convenient alternative for guests without a car. The interior of the Treehouse Villa was described as clean and cozy, with a partial pool view and ample surrounding trees. The entryway featured river-rock-style tile, leading into a spacious living room, dining area, and kitchen. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the common space provided views of the surrounding woods. The dining area accommodated six at a large table, with additional seating at the kitchen counter. The kitchen was fully equipped with a refrigerator, oven, microwave, sink, dishwasher, coffee maker, and a variety of dishes and cooking utensils, supporting the villa's design as a vacation home where guests can prepare their own meals. The author's group successfully cooked breakfast daily and dinner two out of three nights, utilizing the full kitchen facilities. Outdoor cooking was also an option, with a charcoal grill provided, which the group used for a casual dinner. The living room featured a large couch and a cozy chair, both convertible into beds, along with a big TV for entertainment. The villa included three bedrooms. One bedroom had a bunk bed, suitable for children, with a TV, closet, and drawers. A second bedroom contained a queen-sized bed, drawers, a small closet, and a TV. The main bedroom, located on the opposite side of the villa, was the most spacious, offering a queen bed, TV, desk, and drawers. It also featured a large en-suite bathroom. There were two bathrooms in total; one in the hallway with a single vanity, toilet, and a combination shower/tub, which was appreciated for a toddler, and another in the main bedroom with a single vanity, a toilet closet, and a unique shower setup that included a large whirlpool tub inside a glass-enclosed shower with river-rock-style tile. A spacious deck, accessible via a flight of stairs, offered an outdoor living space with a small table and four chairs, used for dining and as a staging area for grilling. While the deck overlooked the woods, proximity to a bus stop meant it wasn't always quiet. The pool at the Treehouse Villas was not crowded during the day but filled up in the late afternoon. It included a hot tub, loungers, and tables, but lacked a slide or lifeguard. Guests could, however, access the main Saratoga Springs pools for these amenities. The overall experience was positive, particularly for a large group, with the unique vibe and amenities contributing to a memorable birthday weekend. The use of DVC points made it a great value, and the author expressed an intention to return. #DisneyWorld #SaratogaSpringsResort #TreehouseVillas #VacationRental #FamilyTravel #DisneyVacationClub #ResortReview #TravelAccommodation #GroupTravel #DisneyWorld #SaratogaSpringsResort #TreehouseVillas #VacationRental #FamilyTravel #DisneyVacationClub #ResortReview #TravelAccommodation #GroupTravel
