Inside “Real Housewives” Star Garcelle Beauvais’ Home
Garcelle Beauvais, known for her roles in "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and as a host on "The Real," offered a detailed tour of her Los Angeles home to People magazine. The residence spans 3,200 square feet and includes five bedrooms and five bathrooms, serving as the family abode for Beauvais and her twin sons, Jade and Jax. The tour commenced in the kitchen, characterized by its sleek white cabinets adorned with gold pendants, complemented by an island countertop featuring black and white Serena and Lily chairs. Beauvais emphasized the importance of an open-concept kitchen, noting its frequent use by her children and their friends for snacks like pizza, fruit, and popcorn, particularly in pre-Covid times.
The dining room, a space reflective of Beauvais's preference for Restoration Hardware, features a high-end chandelier described by her as "clean and chic." Transitioning into the living room, Beauvais identified it as a more adult-oriented space designed for entertaining friends, whether relaxing on the couch, in chairs, or on the floor, while engaging in conversation and socializing. The living room walls are decorated with tropical accents, which Beauvais shared reminded her of her Haitian heritage. Before ascending the stairs, Beauvais highlighted a prominent chandelier in the open space, indicating her deliberate choice to incorporate it into her home’s design.
Moving to the second floor, the tour showcased a stairwell lined with artwork and family photographs, which Beauvais explained symbolize the joy her family brings her. The loft area serves as a dedicated hangout space for her twin sons, equipped with games, activities, couches, and chairs. Within this area, a display case prominently features autographed boxing gloves from legendary fighters Mike Tyson and Oscar De La Hoya. A particularly personal space on the second floor is Beauvais’s “Glam room,” a long-desired area she designed to be as feminine as possible.
This glam room is decorated in a tropical soft pink and white color scheme, featuring wallpaper by Nathen Turner, dubbed “Garcelle Pink.” This room is specifically designated for hair and makeup, adorned with photographs of Beauvais and a mannequin displaying a custom-made couture dress by Jay Mandel, a slim-fit hot pink design with accompanying accessories. The home tour concluded in Beauvais's master bedroom, which she described as her personal sanctuary. She detailed activities such as playing music, lighting candles, and burning sage to create a zen atmosphere. The bedroom’s accent wall is brown, complemented by cozy furnishings. Sliding glass doors lead to a balcony, where a Buddha portrait and a water fountain contribute to a tranquil environment. Beauvais concluded the tour by expressing gratitude to her audience.
