Supplier list for Steph and Gian's Week 9 Kids Room 2
Steph and Gian, participants in 'The Block' reality television show, faced renewed pressure in Week 9 to design a successful kids' room after an unsuccessful attempt in Week 1. Their initial attempt at a kids' room, described as 'House Decider kids' room', did not meet expectations, prompting them to seek external advice for their second attempt. To ensure they met the brief for Week 9, they consulted child experts—specifically, the executive producer's children, Charlie and Max—who emphasized the importance of incorporating teddy bears and vibrant colors, explicitly advising against the use of 'beige.' This guidance was pivotal in shaping their design approach for the second kids' room.
The article provides a detailed list of suppliers and products used by Steph and Gian for their Week 9 Kids Room 2. The room's artistic elements include space-themed wall decals and framed prints like 'Little Dreamer' and 'Space Adventure' from Grafico, suggesting a playful and imaginative environment. The chosen paint color, Accent Venetian Stone from Mitre 10, indicates a move away from their previous design choices.
For functional elements, Kinsman Wardrobes supplied a wardrobe with oak woodgrain doors and a dove grey interior, featuring dark brown leather handles with pewter buttons. The wardrobe also included Matrix Drawers and Häfele Black Hanging Rails for organization.
