Forbes Masters Launches Unique Wallpaper Collection

Tavia Forbes and Monet Masters, the Atlanta-based duo behind Forbes Masters, have launched their first wallpaper and textiles collection in collaboration with Mitchell Black. This new venture adds to their recent successes, which include extensive media coverage and a growing client base. The collection, which was initially showcased at AmericasMart in Atlanta, emphasizes their distinctive textural style, drawing inspiration from their cultural heritage. Each wallpaper design within the collection is named with an African origin, further connecting to their roots. The wallpapers feature intentional geometric patterns characterized by depth and contrast. The color palette employed is soothing, rich, and earthy, incorporating shades such as terra cotta, olive, peach, and charcoal. This combination of colors and patterns aims to create an ambiance that is both calming and provocative, allowing customers to introduce character-filled elements into their spaces. The collection offers digitally printed traditional wallpaper and a PVC-free peel-and-stick option, catering to various installation preferences. Commercial-grade versions are also available, indicating suitability for a broader range of applications. New patterns are expected to be rolled out periodically, expanding the collection over time. Forbes expressed that establishing a wallpaper collection was a significant goal in their mission to influence home aesthetics. She highlighted their passion for texture, patterns, and pattern play, stating that the collection is designed to encourage customers to explore these elements. According to Forbes, wallpaper provides a simple yet effective method for adding character to a room, with each design possessing a unique personality. The collaboration with Mitchell Black was a deliberate choice for Forbes Masters, underscoring their commitment to supporting diverse businesses. Lynai Jones, the founder of Mitchell Black, noted that she was immediately struck by Forbes and Masters' exquisite taste upon meeting them at a Black Interior Designers Network conference. She also mentioned their shared Jamaican heritage, which she believes contributes to the collection's blend of class and style. Masters affirmed the importance of aligning their business practices with their values, emphasizing that partnering with Mitchell Black, a woman-owned Black business, was consistent with their principles of supporting and showcasing diverse enterprises. This partnership represents a fusion of design vision and shared values, bringing a distinct aesthetic to the interior design market. #ForbesMasters #MitchellBlack #WallpaperCollection #InteriorDesign #HomeDecor #AtlantaDesign #TexturalDesign #GeometricPatterns #BlackOwnedBusiness #ForbesMasters #MitchellBlack #WallpaperCollection #InteriorDesign #HomeDecor #AtlantaDesign #TexturalDesign #GeometricPatterns #BlackOwnedBusiness
