The in-wall WeMo Light Switch, used for a porch light, demonstrated reliable performance over six months with its scheduled operation. The plug-in WeMo Insight Switch, primarily used with a floor lamp and later for a Christmas tree, also proved effective for automated timing. A significant advantage of the Insight Switch is its ability to provide energy usage data, allowing users to track the cost and duration of device operation.
