It’s epic: the bumper October 2025 issue of Wallpaper* is on sale now

The October 2025 issue of Wallpaper* magazine is now available, featuring a comprehensive collection of long-form stories designed to leverage the unique advantages of print media. In an era dominated by multiplatform content creation, this issue dedicates significant space to in-depth articles, aiming to offer rich visual experiences, expansive reporting, and a thoughtful juxtaposition of diverse topics and projects. This approach seeks to provide pertinent insights into broader cultural and life shifts. The 300-page October issue delves into the methodologies and motivations of a variety of global creatives. Readers will encounter Bas Smets, a landscape architect focused on reconnecting humanity with the natural environment. The visionary fashion designer Craig Green is profiled, with an exploration of his London atelier to understand his creative process. Irma Boom is also featured, highlighting her commitment to reinforcing the importance of print through her exceptional book designs. The magazine extends its geographical scope with visits to distinct locations. A report from Tbilisi examines the city’s robust entrepreneurial spirit as it navigates an increasingly authoritarian state. In Lagos, Nigeria, the informal architecture of street markets is presented as a source of inspiration for a new generation of designers adapting indigenous building structures. A significant section broadens the understanding of "home" by exploring Le Corbusier’s Unité d’Habitation in Marseille. Here, residents share their experiences and reflections on the enduring legacy of this landmark housing project. Further exploration of the concept of domesticity is provided through the perspectives of contemporary artists who contemplate the home as a symbol of selfhood. The interiors section focuses on objects that exemplify lasting design, demonstrating the remarkable longevity of certain pieces. The issue also includes reflections on technology and travel, two dynamic aspects of the modern world that are constantly evolving and subject to continuous renewal. The production of this issue involved the collaborative efforts of many individuals. Special acknowledgments are extended to Clara Perrotte, Anne-France Berthelon, Ora-ïto, and Raphaëlle Caldaguès for their contributions to the Unité d’Habitation story. Photographer Kalpesh Lathigra is recognized for capturing the backstage world of Craig Green’s Paris show, while Devashish Gaur is thanked for remotely photographing ten portraits for the Landscape Architects’ Directory 2025. London Art Makers also provided assistance in creating the monumental interiors story. The October 2025 issue is accessible in print on newsstands, via the Wallpaper* app on Apple iOS, and for Apple News+ subscribers from September 4, 2025. The newsstand cover features a prototype ‘Bibendum’ chair and ‘Helia’ fabric, while the limited-edition subscriber cover is an artwork by Gabriel Annouka. #magazine #designInteriors #architecture #culturalExploration #printMedia #designers #urbanLiving #travel #magazine #designInteriors #architecture #culturalExploration #printMedia #designers #urbanLiving #travel
