Modulyss lists carpet tiles on Dezeen Showroom
Belgian flooring brand Modulyss has recently showcased several of its carpet tile collections on the Dezeen Showroom platform. These collections are designed for various interior environments, particularly high-traffic commercial spaces such as offices, law firms, and auditoriums. The featured products emphasize aesthetic appeal, durability, and a commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices.
Among the highlighted products are the Haelo carpet tiles, which are available in two distinct styles: Lume and Ray. Both styles draw inspiration from the natural phenomenon of light reflecting on water, aiming to create a serene and continuous flooring solution. The Haelo collection achieves a mottled aesthetic, mimicking the visual effect of dappled light. These tiles are produced using Modulyss's Thrive matter yarn, which is notable for comprising 90 percent certified recycled content, reflecting the brand's focus on environmental responsibility.
The Rust carpet tile collection is another featured offering, designed to evoke the appearance of surfaces that have interacted with water over time, resulting in a soft and organic look. This collection provides users with a selection of 12 colors, offering flexibility for mixing and matching within the range or with other Modulyss carpet tiles to create customized floor designs. This variety allows for diverse design possibilities while maintaining a coherent aesthetic.
Additionally, the Plus collection tiles are presented, featuring three styles: Monus, Arta, and Forma, each offered in multiple colorways. A significant aspect of the Plus collection is its eco-conscious construction; the reverse side of these tiles incorporates ecoBack Plus, a material composed of polyolefin and biomaterials, with 85 percent recycled or renewed content. This demonstrates Modulyss's ongoing efforts to integrate sustainable materials into its product lines.
The Artcore flooring collection is also part of the showcase. This collection is inspired by the gradual transitions observed in natural landscapes. The Artcore tiles are manufactured using 100 percent Econyl recycled yarn, further reinforcing the brand's commitment to sustainability. These tiles are paired with a PVC- and bitumen-free backing, aligning with eco-friendly product specifications. The Artcore range consists of four distinct designs: Mezzo, Litho, Etch, and Core, each contributing to the collection's theme of natural transitions.
Modulyss, a sub-brand of the flooring company Belysse, was established in Belgium in 2010. The company has since specialized in providing carpet tile solutions for demanding interior applications. The presentation on Dezeen Showroom serves to highlight these product innovations and the brand's sustainable initiatives to a global audience of designers and industry professionals.
